THE ISLAND IMPACT
Treasure Island Resort & Casino continues to be a strong community partner by generously supporting charitable organizations. Since 1994, the Prairie Island Indian Community, which owns and operates Treasure Island Resort & Casino, has donated over $22.5 million to many non-profit and community organizations. Treasure Island’s giving supports non-profits that are designated 501 (c)(3) organizations.

Let’s play ball! The 2024 Twins Community Fund Youth Baseball Clinic is back, providing fundamental instruction for boys and girls ages 6-12 in a fun and positive atmosphere. Kids can develop skills while having a blast on Saturday, June 1 from 1pm-3pm. Participants are asked to bring their gloves.
Treasure Island is the exclusive casino partner of the Minnesota Twins.

The mission of the Boys & Girls Club of the Minneapolis American Indian Center is to provide Native youth with culturally relevant opportunities that foster their holistic development and personal empowerment, with an emphasis on reaching their full potential and pursuing their dreams.
DONATION REQUESTS
Treasure Island Resort & Casino provides support to charitable organizations to positively impact our community through in-kind donations. Due to the high volume of received requests, in-kind donations are limited to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, community organizations & individual benefits within a 60-mile radius of Treasure Island.
REQUIREMENTS
All donation requests must be submitted through the online application at least 45 days prior to an event. Requests must be submitted on your organization’s official letterhead by uploading an event flier or letter of request in either Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF format, with the following information included:
- Organization Name & Mailing Address
- Event Date & Description
- Contact Name, Phone Number & Email Address
Guidelines
Submissions
Requests must be submitted through the online application as least 45 days prior to an event. All communication will come through the online system. Emails, phone calls, faxes and mailed submissions will no longer be accepted. Submitting a request does not guarantee a donation.
Timeline
Your organization will receive status notification via the email provide on your request form approximately four (4) weeks prior to your event. Approved donations will be sent approximately four (4) weeks prior to your event. Organizations are only eligible to receive one (1) donation per calendar year.
Event Restrictions
Requests related to the following are ineligible to receive donations:
- Religious, fraternal, labor or political groups.
- Third-party fundraisers or employee incentive programs (walks, fundraising teams, etc.).
- Senior class parties, post-prom parties or similar events.
- Sponsorships, operating expenses and monetary donations.
Certificates
Expiration dates on gift certificates will be enforced – no exceptions.
