Treasure Island Welcomes Charley Pride to the Island Event Center

Welch, Minn. (December 4, 2017) Charley Pride began his trailblazing music career over 50 years ago and he brings his golden baritone voice to Treasure Island Resort & Casino on April 28.

Born in Mississippi, Charley grew up listening to the blues, gospel and country music. His 1971 crossover single “Kiss an Angel Good Mornin” sold over a million singles and helped him win the Country Music Association’s Entertainer of the Year award and the Top Male Vocalist awards of 1971 and 1972.

A few of the country legends hits include, “Just Between You and Me,” “Is Anybody Goin’ To San Antone,” “I Wonder Could I Live There Anymore,” and “Burger and Fries.”
