Red Wing, MN (September 11, 2015) Treasure Island Resort & Casino and the St. Paul Saints today announced the unveiling of the Treasure Island Ship. The ship is a new interactive area where fans are able to watch Saints games from the Treasure Island Ship. The ship is 60 feet long and 18 feet wide and features two working cannons. There are several viewing and seating areas, including tables and a bar rail.
The fully rigged ship flies the Treasure Island flags and the Toucan mascot is on one of the masts, along with the customary mermaid on the bow. The Treasure Island Ship will accommodate up to 150 people and can be reserved for groups that would like to have their own private ship to have fun and watch the game.
The St. Paul Saints and Treasure Island Resort & Casino have a multi-year partnership that includes a founding partner designation for the new CHS Field. As part of their sponsorship, Treasure Island has branded a second key area in the ballpark. The Treasure Island Berm, the grass hill over the left field wall behind the bullpens now looks and feels like an Island oasis with the addition of two 24 foot palm trees placed between the Treasure Island logo. Along the top of the metal Treasure Island letters is a drink rail where fans can enjoy the game from a unique area at a very reasonable price.
“This has been an exciting year for the St. Paul Saints and Treasure Island, with their success on the field and the excitement that we generate together each home game to entertain the fans. Our goal was to make sure people have a great time at both the ballpark and Treasure Island. With the launching of the Treasure Island Ship and the Berm, fans have two incredible areas to watch the Saints play,”
