TREASURE ISLAND RV PARK & CAMPGROUND RULES, REGULATIONS & POLICIES
1. General Rules:
a. Check In and Out:
- Stop at the Park office to check-in and check-out.
- Check in time: 1:00 P.M.
- Check out is by 12:00 noon.
b. Speed Limit:
- The speed limit is 10 mph
- Speeding and reckless driving are not permitted.
c. Quiet Hours:
- 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- Outdoor Events Quiet Hours start 2 hours after the event ends.
d. Prohibited Items:
- Guest ATV’s, UTV’s, dirt bikes, or golf carts are not allowed on Marina property.
- Fireworks are prohibited due to fire hazards, safety, and noise.
e. Guests must conduct themselves in a manner that is not an annoyance, hazard, or nuisance to staff or other guests.
f. Incidents involving Security or any law enforcement agency may result in immediate removal with No Refund.
g. Park reserves the right to refuse service to a guest in whole or in part based on observed behavior.
h. Management Reserves the right to change or update Rules and Regulations at any time.
2. General Occupancy Rules:
a. Walkways:
- Must be kept clean and clear and to allow reasonable access to other sites
- Electrical cords and water hoses are not allowed to run across any walkways or other campsites
- RV’s, campers, or tents cannot obstruct any walkway
b. Keep your site clean, orderly, and observe site boundaries.
c. Pick up after yourself when using shelters, bathhouse, and laundry room.
d. Park is not held responsible for accidents or injury to our guests or for loss of valuables of any kind.
e. Guests are responsible for any property damage incurred whether intentionally or due to negligence.
f. There are dumpsters around the Park for disposal of everyday trash, which does not include the items enumerated below in paragraph (g).
g. The following items may not be disposed of in Park dumpsters. Disposal of these items will result in an illegal dumping charge of $100:
- TV’s, BBQ grills, fire pits, mattresses, tires, hazardous waste, appliances, and building materials.
3. RV, Camper, and Tent Requirements:
a. RV’s and Campers must be in good, clean, operable condition.
b. RVs and Campers with obvious disrepair will not be allowed to stay.
c. Each RV/Camper space includes one (1) registered, self-contained unit, plus one (1) other vehicle per site.
d. Each Tent site includes up to two (2) tents, plus one (1) vehicle.
e. If you have additional trailers, boats, or vehicles there is a designated parking area.
4. Emergency:
a. Dial 911
- Our location is 5630 Sturgeon Lake Road, Welch, MN 55089
- Mention your site number.
5. Non-Emergency:
a. Dial 651-385-2789 for Security
- Mention your site number.
b. If there is an issue with your site, please contact Park.
c. If there is an issue with your site, please contact Park.
6. Severe Weather:
a. When a Severe Weather Warning is issued, seek shelter immediately. Park staff will attempt to communicate shelter options with you. You are responsible for seeking shelter in inclement weather. Some of the shelter options that may be available are:
- RV Park bath/shower rooms and or the laundry room.
- Security may dispatch a shuttle bus for evacuation.
7. Payment:
All reservations must be paid in full at the time of booking or at the Park office as soon as reasonable after arrival.
8. Children:
a. Parents are responsible for the behavior and welfare of their children at all times.
b. Children 12 years and under must have a parent with them in the restroom/shower rooms and laundry room.
9. Pets:
a. We are a pet-friendly Park.
b. Dogs and other pets and must be on a leash when outside and excessive barking is not allowed.
c. Pick up after your pet, we have a dog waste stations at the north and south end of the Park.
d. Pets must not be a threat or a nuisance to other Park users at any time.
e. Security or Park staff may contact an owner if a pet appears to be in distress. Action may be taken if there is no response.
f. Owner may be asked to leave for repeat violations.
10. Firearms:
Park is a firearm-free facility
11. Firewood for Sale On-Site:
a. Campfires within the Park are allowed in the following areas:
- Campsites with fire pits
- RV sites in portable fire pits.
b. If burning restrictions are in place it will be announced at the time of check-in and firewood will not be available for purchase.
c. Firewood is available for purchase during regular office hours.
d. Only outside firewood that is certified or is treated in an MDA certified facility is allowed.
