Welch, Minn. (April 23, 2018) Treasure Island is excited to announce that Nickelback and their “Feed the Machine Tour” along with special guest Pop Evil will be part of the “2018 Summer Concert Series” at the new outdoor Treasure Island Amphitheater. Nickelback and Pop Evil will play in concert on Sunday, July 22.
Crowned “Rock Group of the Decade” by Billboard, Nickelback has been a force to be reckoned with since bursting onto the worldwide charts with their 2001 smash single “How You Remind Me” which was certified by Billboard as “Top Rock Song of the Decade” and “Most Played Song of the Decade” by Neilsen SoundScan.
With over 50 million albums sold worldwide, it’s Nickelback’s cunning linguistics delivered with a devilish wink and a smile – crafted with unforgettable and highly melodic hooks and epic choruses that have constantly blazed a trail atop both the rock and pop charts. Nickelback’s hits are numerous and include, “Someday,” “ Photograph,” Far Away,” “Animals” and many more.
The bands achievements include; nine Grammy Award nominations, six Billboard Music Awards, World Music Award recipient for World’s Best-Selling Rock Artist, twelve consecutive sold-out international tours, not to mention the distinguished achievement of being the best-selling foreign act of the 2000s – second only to the Beatles.
There is a reason Billboard named Pop Evil the #4 Mainstream Rock Artist of 2014, and it’s not just because of the three consecutive #1 Rock Radio Singles, “Trenches,” “Deal with the Devil” and “Torn to Pieces” from their album Onyx or the subsequent 180,000 in domestic sales of that album. Simply put, Pop Evil is a larger than life true rock n’ roll band capable of empathizing with the daily struggles of their fans while simultaneously offering the escapism a truly bombastic concert provides.
Two of rock’s greatest bands on one stage and only here at Treasure Island.
Tickets for the show will go on sale Friday, April 27 with ticket prices for reserved seating starting at $41.
