Red Wing, MN (June 28, 2017) The smoky, raspy voice of Melissa Etheridge is unmistakable and she will be in concert along with special guest Dr. John here at Treasure Island Resort & Casino on August 18, 2017.

Melissa Etheridge is one of rock music’s great female artists. Her critically acclaimed self-titled debut album, which was released in 1988, is certified double platinum. Etheridge’s popularity grew around such memorable songs as “Bring Me Some Water,” “No Souvenirs” and “Ain’t It Heavy” from her third album Never Enough, which she won her first Grammy for Best Female Rock Vocal.

Etheridge hit her commercial and artistic stride with her fourth album, Yes I Am, which featured the hits “I’m the Only One” and “Come to My Window” for which she garnered another Grammy Award. The album, which is six times platinum, spent more than two and a half years on the album chart.
