Loverboy and Night Ranger come to The Island

Red Wing, MN (August 28, 2017) Two major arena rock bands from the 1980s, Loverboy and Night Ranger, bring their hits to Treasure Island Resort & Casino on Friday, December 8.

For more than 30 years the Canadian band, Loverboy has been “Working for the Weekend” and rocking audiences and fans around the world since they formed in 1978. Their self-titled debut album sold over 700,000 records in Canada, more than two million in the U.S. and more than four million worldwide.

With their trademark red leather pants, bandannas, big rock sound and high-energy concerts, Loverboy has sold more than 10 million albums, which include 4x platinum Get Lucky, and 2x platinum albums Loverboy, Keep It Up and Lovin’ Every Minute of It. Their hit singles include “This Could Be the Night,” “Lovin’ Every Minute of It,” “Hot Girls in Love,” “The Kid is Hot Tonight,” “Turn Me Loose” and the very popular “Working for the Weekend” to name just a few.

With more than 17 million albums sold worldwide and over 3000 live concerts, the American rock band from San Francisco, Night Ranger has both epitomized and transcended the arena rock sound and style of that era and beyond.

Tickets will go on sale Friday, September 1 at 10am. Tickets are $38, $48 and $58 each. For tickets visit or come to the Island Box Office to purchase your seats. The Friday show begins at 8pm. All attendees must be 16 years of age or older and fans ages 16 and 17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
