From writing to performing, Mason Jennings has perfected his craft over the last two decades. Described as a “Minnesota folk king” by Rolling Stone, Jennings has turned real-life experiences into songs like “Something About Your Love” and “Ulysses.”

Following their fan-favorite show in the Island Event Center last fall, Wild Horses is coming back to The Island! The Minnesota-based group has opened for Willie Nelson and shared the stage with Wilco, Shovels & Rope and Langhorne Slim. This year, they’re touring as support for Trampled by Turtles. With personal lyrics, beautiful harmonies and electrifying energy, they’ve captivated audiences across the country with “Like The Sea,” “Warpaint” and “All That’s Left.”

Charlie Parr is a self-proclaimed folk troubadour. A true master of guitar, an incredible poet and a lyrical craftsman, the Minnesota-born artist has released 19 albums featuring songs like “Jubilee,” “1922 Blues” and “Over the Red Cedar.”

After opening for Wild Horses’ show at The Island last fall, the Mike Munson Trio is taking their talents to the Treasure Island Amphitheater! Winona’s own Mike Munson brings dark themes and heavy rhythms to his work, echoing the traditional country blues that provide the undercurrent of his creativity. As a trio, the band adds modern jazz and traditional folk songs to Munson’s rich catalog.
