Earth, Wind & Fire comes to the Island Event Center

Welch, Minn. (December 12, 2017) One of the most successful bands of the 1970s, Earth, Wind & Fire will bring its distinctive sound of R&B, soul, funk, jazz and disco for one night to Treasure Island Resort & Casino on March 18.

The American band, Earth, Wind & Fire (EWF) has had an amazing career with a number of awards to show for its longevity and fan loyalty. Overall EWF produced 23 albums which included eight No 1 R&B singles and eight Double Platinum top 10 albums. The group has sold more than 100 million albums and earned more than 50 Gold and Platinum records. The band has received 20 Grammy Award nominations and won six as a group. EWF has also been nominated for 12 American Music Awards and won four. In 2000 they were honored by being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In 2016, the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences presented the band with its highest honor – the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.

Tickets will go on sale Friday, December 15 at 10 a.m. Tickets for this show will be $90, $80 and $70. For tickets visit or come to the Island Box Office to purchase your seats. The shows begin at 8 p.m. All attendees must be 12 years of age or older and fans ages 12 to 17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
