Chris Daughtry will rock the Island Event Center

Welch, Minn. (December 18, 2017) As the frontman for the band bearing his name, Daughtry has become one of the most visible and consistent rock & roll leaders of the 21st century and you can see him when he comes to Treasure Island Resort & Casino on April 14.

Since rising to prominence on the fifth season of American Idol, Chris Daughtry has released four albums, all of which reached the Billboard Top Ten and have combined sales of over 8 million copies in the U.S. The singer, songwriter and musician has released back-to-back No.1 albums, the 4x-platinum debut, Daughtry (which became the fastest-selling rock debut in Soundscan history) and the 2009 platinum Leave This Town. The album Daughtry has scored four No.1 Top 40 hits (“It’s Not Over,” “Home,” “Feels Like Tonight,” and “No Surprise”) earned four Grammy Award nominations and won four American Music Awards.

Currently the band continues work on its fifth album which Chris describes in its early stages as having a “bluesy, almost rootsy undertone to it.”

Daughtry has brought its electrifying show and played to sold out concerts around the globe including South Africa, Singapore, and The Philippines. Not bad for a former American Idol contestant.
