Welch, Minn. (August 19, 2019) Jazz, blues and rock legend Boz Scaggs will be coming to the Island Event Center on October 25.
American singer, songwriter and musician William Royce “Boz” Scaggs spent his early years immersed in blues, R&B and rock n’ roll. The outcome was his 1970’s chart topping albums, Middle Man, Slow Dancer and Silk Degree. Silk Degrees, which is 5x Multi-Platinum, produced three top 40 hit singles; “It’s Over,” “Lido Shuffle” and “Lowdown” which received the Grammy Award for Best R&B Song.
Scaggs recent album, Out of the Blues is appropriately titled since it was the blues that sparked his five-decade musical career.
