Welch, Minn. (May 8, 2018) America’s Technicolor cowboys, John Rich and Big Kenny Alphin, or better known as Big & Rich, will be part of the Treasure Island 2018 Summer Concert Series at the new outdoor Treasure Island Amphitheater. Big & Rich along with a special guest will play in concert on Sunday, July 1.
The American country music duo are both songwriters, vocalists and guitarists and have exerted a definite “gravitational pull” to the direction modern country music has taken. They took the public by storm in 2004 when they released their first studio album Horse of a Different Color. The album went triple platinum and produced four hits including the extremely popular, “Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy).”
Their next album releases, Comin’ to Your City and Between Raising Hell and Amazing Grace produced more hits including their first number one single, “Lost in This Moment.” Their fourth album, Hillbilly Jedi led by the single “That’s Why I Pray” made history as the highest debut by a duo opening at Number 24 on Billboard’s Hot Shot Debut.
As the creative force behind their own label, Big & Rich Records, they are one of the most original musical forces ever unleashed. This concert will also feature Cowboy Troy along with a special guest.
